Description: |
Dr. McFarlane is an applied physical chemist whose research interests include development of efficient processes for alternative fuels and chemicals manufacture, physical properties and kinetics modeling, and analytical support for radiochemical and environmental projects. She moved to Oak Ridge National Laboratory from Atomic Energy of Canada Limited in 2001. Prior to working at AECL, she obtained a PhD in Chemistry at the University of Toronto, Canada, and a BSc in Honours Chemistry from McGill University in Quebec. She is an Adjunct Professor in the Chemical Engineering Department of the University of Tennessee, and has authored over 50 peer reviewed publications. |
