Description:
Huimin Luo started her ORNL career as a U.S. DOE Alexander Hollaender Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellow in Nuclear Medicine Group. She then accepted a R&D position at Rhone-Poulenc-Rorer Pharmaceutical Company and worked there for one year before becoming a part-time employee with ORNL and a full-time mom for her three kids. She has been working with synthesis and applications of ionic liquids since 2001. She has over 40 peer-reviewed publications and holds two US patents.
